M/V ISLAND CHIEFTAIN contracted by the West Alpha Consortium

NORWAY: Island Offshore has announced that the Platform Supply Vessel "Island Chieftain" has been awarded a 20 months firm contract by the West Alpha Consortium.
The West Alpha Consortium is comprising of: Norwegian Energy Company ASA, BG Norge Limited, Petro-Canada, Centrica Energy, Nexen Exploration Norge AS.
The vessel will be operating out of Tananger, and will be performing supply duties including oil recovery and standby rescue functions for the consortium.
PSV "Island Chieftain" commenced her charter 15th of February 2010.
