Veola takes M/V NORMAND CLIPPER on charter

NORWAY: Oslo-listed Solstad Offshore ASA has entered into a charter agreement with Veolia ES Special Services Inc., for a period of 1 year firm + 1 optional year with commencement around 1st April 2010 for a offshore construction vessel.
Solstad Offshore will be utelizing the construction vessel “Normand Clipper”, but has the option to replace the “Normand Clipper” with the “Normand Pacific”, a vessel under construction by the Bergen Group, during Q4 2010.
“Normand Clipper” is presently working for Clough, who will retain the option they have under their present contract to extend the contract with one year after the “Normand Clipper” is redelivered from Veolia ES Special Services Inc.

The vessel commenced a long term contract with Clough in 4th Q 2005. Normand Clipper is supporting hurricane repairs in USG.
