Fred Kamperman joins the Sjursøya Container Terminal

NORWAY/BELGIUM: Fred Kamperman has joined the Belgian Delphis Group as General Manager of the Sjursøya Container Terminal in Oslo.
Mr Kamperman has vast experience within terminal operations obtained among others from his position as a Terminal Manager for the Baltic Container Terminal in Riga and General Manager of the new DCT container terminal in Gdansk.
Delphis, which is headed by Alexander Saverys, controls a fleet of owned and chartered container vessels up to a size of 2.500 TEU within its S&P and Chartering division. The Delphis subsidiary Team Lines operates feeder traffics covering the Iberian peninsula up to theBaltic Sea. Delphis Logistics as a Team Lines brand completes the vessel operator's service portfolio by offering door-to-door transport solutions.
Delphis acquired the container terminal activities of Norsteve Oslo (part of the Finnlines Group) in October 2009 and established the company Sjursøya Container Terminal A/S (SCT) as a 100%-owned Delphis subsidiary. The terminal offers 305m of quay with 12 m depth alongside, served by two ship-to-shore gantry cranes. SCT has the capacity to handle 143,000 TEU, and offers unique off-dock facilities located within the terminal boundaries.
